Travel content creator Eva Bacchoo shared a video on TikTok showing the aftermath of the alleged fire while on vacation in Crete.
The video showed a cream-colored canvas bag, which had an open hole and burn marks around the button area, after the accessory caught fire.

Eva said she managed to put out the fire but was in shock after smelling something burning and turned around to find her bag full of flames.
Speaking to his over 130,000 followers, he said it wasn’t an “ideal situation,” but confirmed that everyone was fine.

Speaking in the video, which has since been viewed over 1.5 million times, he said: “Just to give you a rough idea of how hot it is in Crete right now: my bag caught fire.
“We turned off the fire, but the button got overheated and I started to smell burning, so I thought ‘this is weird.'”
She added, “I turned to get the water out of the bag because I was thirsty and, uh, my bag was burning.
“It’s not an ideal situation, I’ll be honest.
“I’m really angry because it’s like my favorite bag.”

Over 1,000 people have commented since the video was uploaded and many people seem completely in disbelief.
One person commented: “I have this bag and took it on vacation. OH MY GOD.”
A second said: “I bought this bag for my holidays in Crete in August … it was my sign”.
A third added, “Now I’m in Crete, it’s literally unbearable,” while a fourth said, “Think what the heat of the sun does to your skin if it can set your bag on fire.”
