The size 18 woman defended herself, explaining that she hugs her natural body rather than showing it on purpose.

Emily said she wouldn’t let the opinions of strangers stop her.

She said: “Negative comments are often an expression of people’s insecurities or the food culture they grew up in.

“I have faith in myself and I don’t let the opinions of strangers reach me.

“Your body is the least interesting thing about you: People love you for who you are, not for how you look.

“Your height does not determine your worth.”



She occasionally has comments criticizing her weight, but Emily rejects them.

Emily also shared the advice she used to build confidence in her body.

“I found that the best place to start was to challenge any negative internal dialogue by thinking about how you would react to a friend if he said it about himself,” he explained.
