Charis Evans, 22, has been filling up for 2 years because she was the ‘trend’ and last year paid £ 90 for her third round of injections. But her lips began to swell
A mom opened up after an extreme reaction to lip fillers that left her looking like a “puffy doll”.
Charis Evans had been receiving injections since she was 20 because it was the ‘trend’ and last year paid £ 90 for her third round of injections.
But the support worker now claims that she couldn’t eat spicy food or curry without her lips swelling again.

She tried another salon and was injected with 1ml of filler, but within hours her lips became four times their normal size.
Running to the hospital, the 22-year-old was given antihistamines and forced to wear a mask 24/7 to mask the swelling.
Fortunately, the swelling has started to subside after a week, but she still suffers from being forced to avoid spicy foods.

She said, “When I went to get them they started swelling right after.
“I went to my mom and she said they looked very swollen, but at first they swelled anyway.
“They were really swollen within hours.
“It looked like an inflatable doll. She had fish lips and it looked like she had been fighting. They were really great ”.
“The doctor laughed when I entered. Everyone I showed was mortified. Fortunately we wore the masks to be able to hide it. “

Charis was told that her mother had ruined her face and she was afraid she would not return to normal.
He continued: “I was going crazy. It was painful and it felt like they were opening up.
“I try to avoid spicy foods because every time I eat something spicy my mom says I feel like I’ve done it again.
“I still have excruciating pains in my lips.”
She shared pictures of the swelling on social media where several of her friends were left with stitches.

Charis promised never to have accusations again and said she would not leave them to her children, Sophia, two and Bobby, seven weeks.
He concluded: “My body just had a reaction. Sometimes you don’t know what you’re putting on your face.”
“I wish I never had one. I want people to think twice before buying lip fillers. “
“I bought them because it was a trend at the time and a lot of girls were doing it, but the pain and trauma weren’t worth it.”
