Apart from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the tallest members of the royal family gathered at Westminster Abbey this morning to honor the life of the Duke of Edinburgh.
The Queen, along with politicians, European royalty and members of Prince Philip’s family, opened her family at Westminster Abbey this morning.
The 95-year-old monarch, who has been battling health issues, including Covid, in recent weeks, was determined to attend the memorial service after only 30 mourners attended Prince Philip’s funeral.
The first two rows of the abbey were filled with 20 of the late Duke’s close relatives, including his children Prince Charles, Prince Andrew, Princess Anne and Prince Edward and their families.
The Queen was clearly emotional and wept for her deceased husband during the extraordinary service in memory of Great Britain and her extraordinary life in service.
