A doctor told women not to cool off in hot weather by putting popsicles in their vaginas as it could have a worrying impact on their health.
Brits are frantically searching for ways to cool off during the current heatwave in the UK.
Meteorologists expect much of the UK to be warmer than the Maldives today (June 17) as temperatures soar to 34C.
While some rush to buy fans, others put their bedding in the freezer.
But there is another trick to banishing heat that you should never try.
Doctors warn women not to put popsicles in their vaginas, which should go without saying, really.
Dr. Sarah Welsh spoke with meter about ice cream and vaginal health.
She warned women not to be tempted to place ice or food near their intimate areas.

Putting the popsicles in the vagina “introduces the germs” into the body.
Bacteria can cause “infection, irritation and damage,” while the sugar in popsicles can affect the natural pH of the vagina.
The health expert added: “There are a lot of things that should never come close to a vagina and the popsicles are up there.
“Ice can stick to the delicate skin of the vagina and cause real trauma and damage.
“Plus, putting any food into the vagina can introduce microbes, upsetting their normal balance and allowing an environment for bacteria to grow and infections.”
