53-year-old Brits feel sexier because they don’t care much about what people think, a new study has revealed.

It is reported that more than half of people over 50 say they are ready to be more charming now than at any other time in their life and that they feel more attractive at 53.

If you’re wondering what this “age of sexy” is, Tess Daly, Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman and Gillian Anderson are all 53 years old.

According to the study, four out of ten people over the age of 50 (41%) said they felt safer and more comfortable with themselves.

Not to mention, nearly a fifth (18%) also think dating gets a lot more fun as you get older.

Many people said they liked going to trendy restaurants (48%), while a good portion of people flew out for bad weekends (40%).

Additionally, around 53% say they know what they want in a relationship once they cross the 50-year milestone.

They are not afraid to move, while 40% said they no longer care how someone takes them.

Meanwhile, 31% insist that entering old age doesn’t mean sex becomes “vanilla” and boring, and 29% say the idea that Brits over 50 would never have sex overnight is also totally wrong.

The study was conducted by the over 50 dating service Ourtime and the research also found that 35% don’t think most people “give up” as soon as they reach middle age.

Other misconceptions about aging include that people get fat and have wrinkles (44%) and also that people are desperate for love, so they don’t age alone (34%).

Rachel Peru, from Ourtime, said to the sun:: “Become confident as you get older and understand what you want.”
