Women in the UK have mumsnet to share their most humiliating drunken mistakes, including buying a van off eBay, throwing up in a neighbor’s car, and making some very inappropriate moves while dancing with father-in-law.
One woman on the UK parenting forum wrote that she was “to death with embarrassment” after one night of drinking and talking and posting collectively nonsense at a party.

Writing on British parenting forum Mumsnet, this woman described how she died of embarrassment after posting a lot while drinking the night before. Asked users to share their most embarrassing drunken stories
She said she was sick with fear and asked users to share their stories to help her feel less embarrassed.
‘Today My Fear is so bad that I feel bad! Please help a girl by sharing equally embarrassing drunkenness stories,” he said.
The answers came and many reassured him that it could get worse and that it would happen to anyone.
The woman wrote: ‘I’m dying of shame. Delivered in bulk, talking shit and acting like a total bitch at a party yesterday.
People were immediately sharing embarrassing stories, including buying a van off eBay and getting undressed in bed in the middle of a party at a friend’s house.
She explained: “Today My Fear is so bad that I feel bad!”
Finally, she asked users to help her heal, adding, “Please help a girl out by sharing equally embarrassing drunkenness stories to ease my pain!” Thanks in advance!’
Users were quick to help him and upload their own drunk stories.
One person admitted: “I vomited in front of people, I peed in front of people, I blinked, etc. Yes, I have done incredibly humiliating things,” he said.
Another said, “Most of us have done stupid things while drunk. At least you didn’t buy a pickup truck off eBay. Or throwing up in the neighbor’s car. The repentance of those who drink is terrible ».
A third person said: “I once took a ridiculous amount of time explaining to Brits I met on a holiday in Greece that ‘The Archers’ was a radio show.”
The fourth said: I recently took off my pants in my friends’ living room in the middle of the party because I decided to go to bed there and then. Luckily my friends thought it was all fun and I won’t be seeing him again…’
Others admitted: ‘Oh, we all danced like we were in a women’s band thinking we could sing there. A few weeks ago I mentioned something that was a known family “secret” and she didn’t know it…it doesn’t directly concern her and the people she influences know it, but I felt so bad that she didn’t. I knew it, and I told him there was new information from the tick curl in front of him for days.’
Another added, “Ooo, I have one! I was kicked out of a restaurant once for being too drunk! They wouldn’t let me out of the hallway and threw me into the food delivery elevator and out the back door of the kitchen. I wasn’t drunk, but I was totally drunk! Not good.’
