“I don’t even know what to write. “I’m so proud Zoe Saldana and so grateful and honored, Golden Globes,” she captioned the video, expressing her gratitude to her co-star and nominee.
Many moviegoers were stunned following rumors that Selena Gomez might win the award. The fact is that the actress’s performance is often criticized on the Internet and, in addition, in Spanish, which the star speaks very little in the film.
The singer responded to the hate with a comment on one of the videos on TikTok: “I understand what you’re saying… I apologize for doing everything I could in the time allotted to me. It doesn’t take away how much work and soul I put into this movie.”
