Dream Productions’ miniseries about the studio that created Riley’s dreams will premiere on Disney+ this December. In the story, Paula Persimmon, a famous dream director, faces the pressure of her previous successes. He is paired with Xeni (voiced by Richard Ayoade), a dream director whose nightly dreams aim to make it to the big leagues, but who has quite the artistic arrogance.
The cartoon will attract the attention of not only children but also adults because Dream Productions is actually a meta-satire about Hollywood cinema. Moreover, it was shot in a mockumentary or pseudo-documentary style.
The digital broadcast of the cartoon “Puzzle 2” took place on August 20. The cartoon became the highest-grossing animated film in history. However, after a while, 10 Pixar employees stated that they were working under very difficult conditions and that they lost bonuses from the mega revenue of the project due to staff reductions.
