Cult recipes from the USSR that you can cook at home

Nostalgia has long ceased to be just a trend and has become firmly established in the minds of closers and alphas. We cannot put the past aside and just look to the future. Moreover, creators invite us to “relive” those times by drawing inspiration from past years in every field, from fashion to beauty and cinema. This is where silver makeup, skinny jeans and countless remake fashions come from.

We decided to go further and see where else nostalgia permeates. And they discovered that the biggest surge of emotionality comes precisely when we eat. Surprising but true, food can dissolve memories better than photo albums and take us back to childhood, when the only global problem was lumps in semolina porridge. Now restaurateurs offer us modern interpretations of iconic dishes of the USSR, but we decided to sit in a real time machine and repeat the recipes in their original form.

But before cooking, you need to buy food. It is most profitable to do this in Magnit stores, since the Fast Payment System (SBP) has launched a wonderful promotion with two cashbacks in the retail chain. All customers of the Magnit network can receive a 5% cashback in rubles to their bank account and a 3% bonus on the Magnit Plus card.

How can you participate in the promotion?

How to pay?

5% of the refund will automatically be returned to your bank account in rubles, and 3% of the refund will be transferred as a bonus to your Magnit Plus card within 21 days. You can spend them within 14 days (don’t worry, unused bonuses will not expire).

Anyway, let’s move on to the recipes now.

  1. Grind half the cookies in a blender and place them in a bowl. Cut the rest into small pieces.
  2. Chop the walnuts coarsely and add them to the bowl with the cookies.
  3. Mix cocoa and sugar, add milk and mix well.
  4. Place cocoa and milk over low heat and bring to a boil while stirring. Then remove the pan from the stove, cool slightly and add the chopped butter.
  5. Gradually add the nuts and cookies to the mixture until the mixture becomes thick and viscous.
  6. Spread the cling film on the table and place the resulting mixture there.
  7. Wrap the mixture tightly in film, roll it into sausages and put it in the freezer until it hardens.

  1. Cut the chicken breast down the middle and trim off any excess skin and fat.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and spices, brush the breast with vegetable oil and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat the grill pan with vegetable oil and place the carcass inside down, press a pan of water onto it and fry over high heat for 6-8 minutes.
  4. Turn the carcass over and fry for another 5-6 minutes, continuing to press the chicken with the pan.
  5. Remove the pan, add butter to the griddle, and continue cooking for a few more minutes until the chicken is cooked through on both sides.

  1. Cut the onion into small cubes and fry.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil and oil mixture in a large pan and fry the minced meat for 10 minutes.
  3. Combine onion and minced meat and mix.
  4. Boil the pasta in boiling salted water.
  5. Drain the water, add the minced meat and onion to the pasta and mix.

Our advice: After reading the material, immediately go to Magnit stores. Moreover, you will be able to purchase all products profitably with SBP, including November 30th. Detailed terms and conditions of the promotion are available on the website vamprivet.ru.
