A finance queen taught you how to know when you’re getting the lowest price on your groceries with the help of a simple number on your smartphone.

Queenie Tan from Sydney showed how you can use Google to scan a product’s barcode and see how much it costs in other stores in a video posted on popular Instagram and TikTok pages.

Just 25 years old, Queenie has a net worth of over $500,000 and has a combined social media following of 215,200 for her stylish money-saving tips.

In the clip, he said, when you’re shopping, you can use Google Lens to compare the price of each item to make sure you’re getting the best deal available.

Open the Google app and click the camera icon. Scanning a barcode will display a list of the same products in different stores, making it easier to compare prices,” Queenie said.

“The idea is that you can match or beat the price at some stores in the store. It works MUCH better with barcodes than price tags,” he added.

Surprisingly, dish soap was 30 percent cheaper than the supermarket, and an eraser was 25 percent cheaper.

It seems that cleaning products are not in the top categories on the pharmacy website, but can be found in the ‘search’ tab.

‘Oh, I didn’t know!!’ one wrote, the other added: ‘I never knew! Stop by the pharmacy after work.’

The third wrote: ‘And they have some very good cheap wipes! Instead of going to the shops to get them, I went there.’

Others claimed to shop at Bunnings Warehouse to buy cleaning products “in bulk” at a discounted price.
