The future of Guy Ritchie’s latest hit series The Gentlemen, which broke viewing records on Netflix, has finally been revealed. The Sun reports that the action comedy’s creators are in talks to release a second season as executives at the streaming service are “interested in a sequel.”

The gangster drama reached 44 million views in just four weeks. According to available information, the main stars, including Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Ray Winstone, as well as Daniel Ings and Vinnie Jones, will reunite on screen. It was noted that it will not be easy to bring the artists together, but everything possible will be done.
“We look forward to bringing fans back into this world and introducing new characters and their stories, and I’m excited to do so with this incredibly talented cast,” Guy Ritchie said in his speech. In addition to the television series adaptation, the director also directed the first two episodes.
Let us recall that the 2019 movie starred Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Michelle Dockery, Colin Farrell, Jeremy Strong, Henry Golding and Hugh Grant, among others. It was a success at the box office, grossing just over $115 million against a reported budget of $22 million.
The first trailer of the TV series adapted from Guy Ritchie’s movie “Gentlemen” was previously released.
