XXII. The closing ceremony of the First International Film Festival “The Spirit of Fire” took place on February 26. The main theme of the celebration was determined as “The Special Language of National Cinematography”. And this multiculturalism did not leave indifferent any audience, jury member, guest and business representative from 18 countries, especially BRICS. More than 40 films of budding directors from 11 countries of Russia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East were presented within the scope of various competition programs.
The festival of cinematic debuts took place in Khanty-Mansiysk from March 23 to 26. In addition to Russia, participants and jury members from other countries, including Hungary, Iran, South Africa, India, Egypt, UAE, Ethiopia and Senegal, walked the Red Carpet. The presenters of the closing ceremony were Irina Bezrukova and Mikhail Dorozhkin.
They became the first people to receive an award in the open microfilm competition whose theme for 2024 was “Family Values”. The main prize in this category was awarded to the film “Little Bronze Taiga” “The Gift” by Alexey Petrashevich.
