Last weekend everyone was talking about Apple’s new smart device, the Vision Pro helmet. The company is promoting this as the first spatial computing device. Windows of both the real world and virtual programs are visible on the helmet.
The device went on sale a few days ago, but has already managed to cause mixed reactions in society. Thus, many videos appeared on the Internet in which Vision Pro users drive a car, work out in the gym and at the same time correspond via instant messengers. Let’s be honest, it looks very scary at first glance. We understand those who are surprised when they see drivers wearing helmets, especially while driving.
The headset is available in the United States – pre-orders started shipping on February 2. But even there it is not yet possible to buy a helmet: the entire first edition of 200 thousand models has been sold, the timing of the second delivery has not been announced. It is not yet known whether the helmet will appear in Russia. By the way, Yegor Creed managed to become one of the few lucky owners of Vision Pro. True, there has been no feedback yet, except for photos of a fashionable helmet from all angles.
The cost of the device in the minimum configuration is 3,500 US dollars (311,456 RUB). According to experts, the price of a headset in Russia can reach up to one million rubles.
