Reading someone else’s correspondence, invisible mode, protection from surveillance and other WhatsApp secrets

Send mail without creating a public chat

If you need to send the same message to multiple people at the same time but do not want to create a group for it, you can use the mailing list. To do this, go to the chat window, click “List” in the upper left corner, select the users you want and enter a message in the dialog that opens!

Disable the speaker

Your best friend sent you a voicemail, but you’re on a date with a guy and don’t want him to hear your message? You don’t need to reach for headphones to listen. Just hold the phone to your ear: WhatsApp will automatically turn off the speaker and play audio through the phone’s speakers.

Incognito mode

Need to go off the radar? Simple! Go to “Settings” – “Account” – “Privacy” and change a few items: Hide the time of your last visit to Messenger (“I was there”) and turn off read receipts.

Reading someone else’s correspondence

There’s no way to do this remotely, but if you have the other person’s phone in your hand for even a few seconds, then you’re done. Find the desired dialogue in the chat list, swipe left, select “Export conversation” and send it, for example, to your email. Ready!

Individual notification to the addressee

This way you will know exactly who wrote to you. Click on the name of your interlocutor in the chat, select “Voices” from the menu that opens and choose the one you like!

Surveillance protection

Do you suspect that someone is reading your correspondence without your knowledge? There is a way to check this! Go to WhatsApp Web in “Settings”; If your account is linked to another device, this will appear in the opened history. Moreover, you will be able to see exactly when you entered (down to date and minute).

Real-time location tracking

If you want to spy on your boyfriend a little, all you need is your phone and a few seconds of time. Go to the WhatsApp chat with yourself, click on the + sign in the lower left corner, select “Location” and “Share geodata”. The length of time the user’s current location will be available is configurable from 15 minutes to 8 hours!

If you do not want to lose all correspondence from your previous phone number, this is easy to solve: go to “Account” in the settings, then go to “Change number” and specify a new number! A confirmation code will be sent to him and all information will be saved in the application along with groups, media files and much more.
