At the end of October, the first trailer for the movie “Slave 2” was released. And now we can tell you what is known about the filming of the film from the lips of its creators.
Part of the movie is from St. It was shot in St. Petersburg. There the comedy covers two time periods: our days and the staged year 1812, when the spoiled Katya (Aglaya Tarasova) is to be re-educated. In the second part of the film, a bright period rich in large-scale environment was chosen as the “re-education point”, so St. Petersburg was ideal to simulate that time. Magnificent balls were filmed in the Marble Palace, a dance hall and a library in the House of Architects and the House of Scientists, scenes on the water on the Neva and the Griboyedov Canal were shot. “I enjoyed what my colleagues did on the field. It seems to me that Aglaya has great comedic talent. In this film there will be new and sophisticated notes that were not in the first part,” Milos Bikovich said about the shooting. But Aglaya Tarasova even talked about one of the scenes: “I was very pleased with the professionalism and concern that the entire film crew showed in handling the chase scene. It was an epic, very crowded scene where I was sitting behind the wheel of a boat, but of course they didn’t let me drive. I had an understudy named Nina who was in control, but it felt like I was driving the car myself, and that gave me great pleasure. It was the first scene like this in my career.” Sounds interesting, looking forward to it!
By the way, the first part collected 3.073 billion rubles at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing Russian film before the release of “Cheburashka”. Let’s see if the new episode can surpass “Cheburashka”.
