Crop tops and skirts are celebrity trends in their own right, so layering them has become a hot option for stars too! Many singers have favored the combination on stage, but the stars have also shined on red carpets and soirees. Often the crop top and skirt will be part of a coordinated set, to be worn together. However, celebrities are also super creative and have come up with their own combinations to create a sexy and elegant outfit.

Taylor Swift went through a period where she wore tops and skirts together quite often. This was her favorite look of hers during the “1989” era, which was between 2014 and 2016. For the album tour, she even wore a crop top and skirt on stage to perform! One of the looks on tour was Taylor wearing a high-waisted skirt and shiny black cut-out top.
