If there’s something right inside Carrie Underwoodit’s just that she always steals the show on the red carpet and that’s exactly what she did at the CMT Music Awards on April 2nd. The 40-year-old actress sported a pair of sequined shorts and a matching jacket.

Carrie’s gorgeous high-waisted shorts were super short, letting her long, toned legs show off. She paired the shorts with a matching turtleneck jacket, metallic silver pointe shoes, diamond earrings, and a sequined purse. As for her glamor, she had her blonde hair parted down the middle and pulled back into a fluffy ponytail.
Not only did Carrie look gorgeous, but she nailed it in her rendition of “Hate My Heart,” when she wore a black leather corset with dangling crystals and a pair of high-waisted leather shorts decorated with red hearts and a black blazer. . heart above
Carrie is set to make awards history by being nominated for Video of the Year, which she has won for the past four consecutive years. Carrie currently holds the record for the most nominated artist in the history of the show and, if she wins, she could break her own record at the 25th CMT Music Awards.

Carrie loves to have some sparkly fun, and compared to last year’s red carpet look, this year’s is just as fabulous. Last year, Carrie looked stunning on the red carpet in a purple sequined bodycon mini dress. The fitted mini skirt was a black animal print with a halter neckline and a slit down the side of the skirt that showed off her long toned legs.
