Bushrangers Bay is a rocky spring just south of the village of Shellharbour in NSW and is said to be one of the best diving and snorkeling spots in the state.
Less than two hours from Sydney, the sheltered spot is the perfect day escape for nature lovers.

Tourists to the area have taken incredible photos of the crystal clear turquoise waters of the rugged coastline jutting out from the rocky shoreline.
Visitors have named Bushranger Bay “a treasure trove” for the incredible rock pools that swim with native wildlife.

Some lucky swimmers may spot resident Port Jackson or gray nurse sharks, stingrays, fish, invertebrates and corals in shallow waters or on whales and seals.

Visitors have described Bushranger Bay as a “true treasure” for its incredible rock pools swimming with local wildlife.
Adventurers can also explore the nearby Bushrangers Bay Reserve hiking trails through lush forests and attractions for panoramic views of the beautiful coastline.
The reserve has a “no take” rule, so fishing or shelling is not allowed, and touching the delicate corals is prohibited as they can easily break.
Visitors are also advised to wear comfortable shoes, as the rocky beaches are sharp and some places can be difficult to reach.
