Bling Ring Alexis Haines Apologizes For Robbed Orlando Bloom’s Home Removed From Documentary

A woman who is a member of a young gang called the Bling Ring, which has stolen $3 million worth of assets from celebrity homes, claims to have “empathy” for her.

Los Angeles resident Alexis Haines reflected on her involvement in crimes that occurred between 2008 and 2009 in a discussion with ITV’s Lorraine before Channel 4’s new documentary Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist.

He claimed that each member of the group had different reasons for targeting stars like Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan, but their goal was to finance a drug addiction.

Alexis said she felt “empathy” for the woman at the time of the incident and her apology to Orlando Bloom, whose home was involved in the burglary, was cut from the documentary.

Alexis spent over a month in jail for stealing Orlando Bloom (pictured) to fund her drug addiction.

Bling Ring stole more than $3 million in cash, artwork, jewelry and design items while checking gossip sites to see if their crimes are being investigated.

An excerpt from the new documentary, which will air on Channel 4 tonight at 10:05 p.m., reveals that the group found the key to Paris Hilton’s house under her mat after breaking into her home for the second time.

Alexis Haines was sentenced to 188 days in prison for robbing Orlando Bloom’s home, but spent a little over a month in prison.

Daytime TV presenter Lorraine admitted she was “fascinated” by the documentary, but wondered how Alexis justified her actions at the time of the crime.

Alexis said, “We all had different motivations, but I know I was really struggling with serious drug addiction. It was kind of a financial goal and a way to stay on top.

“I’ve never been in trouble before and I was a good kid growing up. My addiction definitely got worse as I got older and entered my late teens.

“That night, no, I didn’t think about the consequences. I was literally thinking how can I get more money to keep uploading.

Alexis said the new documentary “didn’t cheer” the crimes of the Bling Ring as much as the portrait of Sofia Coppola, which aired in 2013.

Claiming that she was not involved in the other crimes of the Bling Ring (pictured), Alexis said she devoted her life to helping other people on their journey of recovery.

Alexis continued, “The documentary twist is like a pop culture twist telling the story. Keeping people around is engaging and engaging for the audience.

“Miles has done a great job, so I was very excited to do this project. In fact, it’s about the fundamental social and cultural challenges that really motivate us to do what we’re doing.

“It doesn’t glorify him at all. I’m not worried about that.

“I am happy to say that I am no longer a double convicted criminal, and that is because I used this as a turning point. Going to jail was the best thing that ever happened to me and it saved my life.

“A lot of people know that addiction is dangerous, and going to jail was really the best thing for me. It allowed me to take some time out of my life and see that my behavior and the illness, addiction, and alcoholism I was dealing with were going to kill me.

“I’ve been sober for 11 years, own an alcohol and drug treatment center with my husband, and have dedicated my entire life to helping other people on their journey to recovery.

“This wouldn’t have been possible if it hadn’t gone like this.”

Despite the extensive Bling Ring report, Alexis claims she was only involved in the Orlando Bloom heist.

Daytime host Lorraine asked Alexis if she had a chance to apologize to the Hollywood actor, and she replied that Alexis already had it.not ’empathy’ for herself as a young woman.

Alexis said: “Many people don’t realize that I grew up in a very traumatic environment, in a very toxic family. She was subjected to all kinds of abuse.

“And so I have a lot of empathy for myself.

“I’ve made a lot of public statements about Orlando Bloom saying that if I could go back in time, I frankly wouldn’t have done what I did. At the same time, that moment strangely saved my life.

“Oddly enough, I’m grateful to him because I really don’t think I would be alive today if I hadn’t gone to jail and gone for treatment.

Alexis (pictured) said she has made many statements expressing her regrets, but that she believes she wouldn't be alive if she wasn't caught stealing.

“I got a very long and emotional apology in the documentary, which has been discontinued. I feel so bad for what I did and there are no words for it.

“There aren’t enough excuses I can give to make it better.”

Alexis’ appearance on the daytime show left viewers indifferent as many alleged criminals should not be given a public platform.

One person on Twitter wrote: ‘As a victim of multiple thefts, how does #Lorraine give these thieves time? They may have targeted celebrities, but still people and their homes are still infested! shocking’

Another said: ‘How can they justify stupid American thieves being famous? No matter who they broke into, they still broke into someone’s home and broke the law.”

The third added: ‘#Lorraine Why bother to glorify the criminals? Bad enough to make a TV show. What you got? ‘
