Imagine something between playing Monopoly, a group session with a psychotherapist, and a session with an astrologer (tarologist, numerologist). You throw bones, move forward – but you do not compete with anyone, you just go to the cherished cell … constantly “falling” and sliding down, or, conversely, flying very high – and you pull out thoughts and emotions from the depths of your subconscious that you did not expect. So goes Leela’s game of transformation, promising to reverse consciousness within a few hours and save 10 years of life in terms of spiritual experience. We learned what it was from our own experience.
Playing with life: How did Leela come about?
Leela is believed to be an ancient Indian game named 2-3 thousand years ago. According to legend, Brahmins (representatives of the spiritual caste) played and helped the priests not only to live, but also to lead the flock. However, references to Leela have not only survived in India: images with the playground can be found in museums in Southeast Asian and Arab countries. So it’s impossible to say exactly where Lila came from. The game began to be spoken in Western culture in 1980, when the writer Harisha Johari translated the meanings of cells from Sanskrit to English, thereby popularizing Leela.

Why has an old app become popular today?

It seems that Leela “suddenly” entered the charts of modernity, but most likely, such an effect is felt due to the spread of advertising on social networks – in fact, it has always been relevant since its adaptation at the end of the 20th century. century. True, today the game is played with slightly different interpretations, because the realities that existed three thousand years ago have changed. After all, the Brahmins did not have twitter… Now the game cells offer information more relevant to our time, although the names remain the same.
names of playgrounds
In total, Leela contains 72 cells – 72 individual messages for each player. For an approximate presentation, we will name the first and last fields:
- Cell 1 – Birth
- Cell 2 – Yeast
- Cell 3 – Anger
- Cell 4 – Greed
- Cell 5 – Physical plane
- Cell 6 – Delusion
- …
- Cell 64 – Extraordinary Plan
- Cell 65 – Interior plan
- Cell 66 – Happiness Plan
- Cell 67 – Plan for Cosmic Good
- Cell 68 – Cosmic Consciousness
Leela is strictly a field tool: she does not work with a person mentally, but through the sensory plane, the so-called “omniscient field.” In general, all field tools are especially relevant now, whether it is Leela, Hellinger’s constellations, numerology, cards and other tools that work in the field.
Reference: Field theory received scientific distribution at the beginning of the 20th century thanks to Kurt Lewin. Within the framework of this concept, the individual is seen as an energy field directed by psychological forces, and the collective as the whole of them. To describe field processes, scientists used the terms mathematics (properties of geometric shapes) and psychology.

Recently, a sizable audience of people interested in this topic has become more active; Many people have an understanding of how to work on themselves on the sensory plane. Perhaps this is due to some global energy processes and the evolution of collective consciousness, or perhaps it is simply the active dissemination of information in social networks. In any case, more and more people are ready to receive information through emotions and play similar games.
How to play Leela?
Officially, the rules are as follows: each player decides for himself the question he wants to solve during the game, and then rolls the dice – for beginners simply to enter Leela’s field. You have to wait until the “six” drops for the game to let you in. And according to the idea of the universe, it only falls when your request comes from the depths of the soul and is true. Therefore, you can sit for an hour “on the threshold” of Leela and formulate wishes, listen to yourself and repeatedly wait for your act.
Finally, when Leela lets the player in, she is faced with the task of reaching cell 68 (“Cosmic consciousness”). To do this, She moves across the playing field, each move forward or backward, and each new move poses new questions to the questioner. The playing field is arranged according to the principle of evolution: from the lower, “earthly” levels to the cells of a higher spiritual plane. As a result, the player who reaches the desired finish has time to rethink a lot and experience various emotions.
Leela’s Rules
- If you entered the game (even if it will take a few hours) it must be completed by you.
- Someone can play for 12 hours or more, for someone the game ends after 30 minutes – it all depends on the person’s intentions and how many messages accumulate for him (more on this below).
- There are snakes and arrows on the field. Snakes bring us down in cages, arrows lift us up, and this “spiritual ascent” cannot be ignored.
- The game ends when the player not only reaches the “end”, but also receives insight – the answer to his request.

You start to notice some recurring moments in your life because the game goes on for a very long time. Because the coolest and most magical thing about Leela is that she “plays” her own way for each actress – until she really sees some patterns between thoughts and actions. It’s a very interesting experience, but a bit tiring.
But maybe it’s this experience that saves a few years of life. Because during these 8-10 hours you start to see things so clearly that you can no longer “ignore” them, so you don’t want to do them anymore.

Transformation “in place”: what is the essence of the game
Everyone determines the essence of the process himself – this is not a game of speed or points. There are no winners and losers here: the participant’s task is to find answers to their questions. And it’s not just questions: They say that Leela is “gathering messages” from more intelligent, conscious beings (some call them spirit guides, some call them higher teachers) about the player who was delayed through her cells.
Often times a person gets answers to their questions from a completely different angle and sees the situation from a height (or side) that they never looked at. And this is incredibly widening the range of consciousness – our perception of the world is changing. They say that the game saves lives for 10 years because you experience many processes intensely during the game and you transform “on the spot”.
In a figurative sense, Leela follows the path of the playful spirit. And if he gets confused, it will take time to get on the right track – to get to the right cell.
In general, we take life very seriously, and therefore it is difficult to make “uncomfortable” decisions in reality. Leela’s experience enables her to approach the most difficult issues and inner conflicts effortlessly. We have the opportunity to “lose” the situation – after all, this is the “game of life” after all.
Why do people play Leela?
Everything is very different. Someone wants to find answers to the questions that torment him (life and death, the search for fate, difficult life choices, relationship conflict). Someone wants to overcome apathy and stagnation. Someone to solve health problems. Someone needs to “rest your soul” – just play and have fun. Basically, people come up with existential questions that try to unravel emotions and find inner harmony in the soul.
“A case study”
I was once the host of a client where we played Lila online. Then I saw how thinly the game spoke to the players. My experience with field tools allows me to see the whole psychological picture as a whole. However, when I start broadcasting what the game is showing me, someone is not perceiving my words (maybe they are not ready to hear it yet). At the same time, the game is so constructed as a series of messages that what I said two or three moves ago suddenly starts reaching the customer. This shows that the game is incredibly smart, intuitive and individual for everyone. That incident showed me this so vividly that I began to perceive Lila as a kind of intelligence.
It is always surprising and fun to see people reaching the end of the game – they “match” with their souls and the world, a whole, unified picture is formed, a puzzle is formed. At this time, their eyes are shining, many are crying – a person has new sensations and a sense of satisfaction.
