James Gunn I had to make a difficult call when it was a DC film that was developed that he was enthusiastic about.
In a recent interview with NPR, the CEO DC Studios has revealed more details on a previously green DC film that eventually demolished after more drafts of the script have not been able to improve.
“We had a movie that was illuminated. We got [the] Second draft e [the] Third draft, and was not changing. He was not improving, “Gunn explained.” He remained in the same place. And I said, we can’t do this movie. We cannot. It is not good. We know it’s not good. “
Gunn has continued to emphasize that having a talented team does not guarantee success if the story does not work:
“Just because we have a good attached director and a good screenwriter, this does not mean that the script works. Everyone will be angry at the end of this.
“It will come out, the film will not be fine. The director will seem bad, the screenwriter will have a bad look and we will seem bad. So I don’t want to have this. We will not make the film. And therefore we killed him.”
While Gunn did not reveal what project it was, admission shows how busy is committed by simply pushing content for the good of a program.
