Leicestershire Police are searching for a man who engaged in a public sex act at the Download music festival, according to the Daily Star. The incident occurred on June 13 in a ferris wheel cabin near the stage while fans waited for rock group Guns N' Roses.
Witnesses said onlookers initially thought the man was hugging his partner from behind to look at the view. When the cabin lowered, a crowd member noticed her underwear had been pulled aside, prompting multiple festivalgoers to film the encounter.
Police investigation
Officers could not detain the pair immediately after the incident. Police later located and questioned the woman involved, but the male suspect remains at large.
Investigators published a photograph of the British man and requested public help to identify him. He faces up to two years in prison or a heavy fine for committing indecent acts in public.
