Adapted from biography American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer written by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, Oppenheimer it’s a biopic centered on the infamous “The Father of the Atomic Bomb”physique to which we owe the creation of the first three atomic bombs in history.
Cillian Murphy, who we imagine is very tortured in this role, embodies J. Robert Oppenheimer at different times of his life… just enough to demonstrate that even time takes nothing away anxieties of the physicist in front of his own creation. The rest of the cast also has something to impress. Oppenheimer will reunite Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon (General Groves), Gary Oldman and Rami Malek.
