Samuel L. Jackson responded to his friend Quentin Tarantino, who caused a stir earlier this month, by saying that actors in Marvel movies are “not movie stars.”
The 73-year-old actress was a guest on The View and commented on the director’s controversial words. And since she’s starred in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films and also worked with Quentin on the cult films Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), and Django Unchained, she had that right like no one else. (2012).

“It’s not hard for me to know that these actors are movie stars,” the actor said.
Samuel also mentioned the late Chadwick Boseman, who was nominated for an Oscar and starred in one of the greatest Marvel movies of all time, shortly before he died at the age of 43 in August 2020.

Samuel continued: “Chadwick Boseman, Black Panther. You can’t deny that and he’s a movie star.”
