Kate Middleton wears Princess Diana’s iconic tiara

Queen After the death of Elizabeth, Kate Middleton said goodbye to the title of Duchess of Cambridge and found a new one – Princess of Wales. The last holder of this title was Lady Dee herself. And of course, a higher title means new obligations, such as attending official events at Buckingham Palace. So, the other day, Kate attended the first provincial banquet of the current King of Great Britain, Charles III, proving once again that the new title suits her well.

The newly-made Princess of Wales chose a floor-length white dress with a gemstone-encrusted cape by Jenny Packham to attend the gala, completing the look with a sumptuous tiara. Without additional accessories and jewelry – a minimalist Alexander McQueen clutch, drop-shaped earrings and a pearl bracelet that connects the overall picture. Cherries – a brooch with a blue and red ribbon and the Order of the Royal Family depicting Elizabeth II.

And how is Kate Middleton’s new role? We are sure that, under the auspices of a higher title, she can certainly stand on the same level as the former Princess of Wales. By the way, the tiara codenamed “Knots of Love” originally belonged to Lady Dee. And after the death of the latter, the decoration was transferred to Kate Middleton.
