Emily Ratajkowski graces the cover of Elle UK and speaks candidly about the challenges of motherhood and unrelated life in an extensive new interview.
The 31-year-old model revealed that she had to “sacrifice a lot as a mother” but felt like her “life is just getting started” as she went through her “strange and painful” thirties and past relationships.
On motherhood and her new life, she said, “When you become a mother, you sacrifice a lot of your personality. And I feel my life has just begun.”
“My 20s were like how people describe the teenage years when you say, ‘God, this was embarrassing and painful. Even though I’ve done what I love, it’s also “Goodbye!” I say.
The model continued, “Now for the first time I am enjoying the world more. And yet I now have the incredible responsibility of raising a child. But all I decide is how I want Sly to think about women. I want her to be an example of a happy mother.”
Recall that Emily recently broke up with her husband after learning of her numerous cheatings. In February 2018, model and Sebastian Behr-McClard got married after 3 months of relationship. The lovers enjoyed each other’s company for several years, and last year there was a replenishment in their family – the couple had a son.
