Sylvester Stallone gave an interview to The Sunday Times where he talked about the first time he’s reunited with his wife after a high-profile breakup. As we wrote earlier, in August, Jennifer Flavin accused the actress of fraud with the assets of the family fund and had already filed for divorce. However, the couple soon changed their minds about breaking up.

“It is as if something more precious has awakened in me, namely the love for my family. This has been a more important and difficult lesson than my job.” In a conversation with a journalist, Sylvester admitted that he sometimes regretted focusing on his career and not the kids. “I didn’t pay enough attention to them growing up. I was very committed to my career. But now I tell myself: “I don’t have much time ahead of me, so I want to know more about their life,” said the star.

“I asked them how the day was and they gave monosyllable answers first. Then I heard from someone: “I was thinking about you.” God, I’ve never heard anything like it in my life. When your daughter knows you care, she is always there,” Stallone shared.
Recall that the couple got married in 1997 after ten years of dating. They have daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlett. Before marrying a model, the actor was married twice: to actress Sasha Zach, with whom he had sons Sage and Sergio. After their divorce in 1985, he immediately married model and actress Brigitte Nielsen. Their marriage lasted two years.
