But it turns out that eight years ago, their engagement nearly broke off. George Clooney talked about his “terrible” marriage proposal that nearly destroyed their relationship. The actress had been planning her ideal proposal for a long time, but everything did not turn out as she expected. In George’s idea, Amal needed to find the ring at dinner, to the music of her aunt Rosemary Clooney. As soon as the composition began to play, she asked her lover to buy a lighter box to light the candles in which she found the “same” ring.
