In a new interview, Christian Bale recalled how he was threatened for his role in the movie “American Psycho”. The Hollywood actress spoke about the fact that some were against the creation of the film, so they did everything possible to interfere with the shooting.
“I remember someone threatening me on the street. Some people actively opposed the making of the film. And I remember people saying they were going to hurt me and things like that…” Christian told GQ.
“Someone warned me, I must have a friend, there was an internet frenzy going on. They called me and said: “There are people who know where you are walking every day, they know which lane you are walking in. They said they were going to jump on him and blow his brains out. So please don’t go there,” Bale recalled.
To Christian, the threats didn’t scare him. After the conversation, he purposely walked down the alley because he wanted to know what was going to happen.
