Marilyn Monroe passed away 60 years ago, but she remains one of Hollywood’s most controversial and mysterious figures. Stars never cease to return to the image of pop diva, and films about Monroe’s life still arouse great interest among the public. One of the most anticipated biooptics this year was “Blonde” starring Andrew Dominik and starring Ana de Armas.

And although everyone admires the actress who managed to get used to the image of Marilyn Monroe so accurately, Ana de Armas describes the strange details of the shoot, which, not for the first time, will give goosebumps. She admitted not so long ago that she felt the “presence” of a pop star on the set, and the day before she revealed another secret that, according to her, helped her cope with this role.

Ana de Armas said in a recent interview that she had to work hard before she started filming. And besides the fact that the actress spent a year diligently preparing for the role, she also resorted to unconventional ideas. It turned out that Ana and the crew went to Marilyn Monroe’s grave.

“Each of us wrote our own call to Marilyn, then we went to the cemetery and put this note on her grave. In a way, we wanted to get her permission to shoot the movie. Everyone felt a great responsibility and we were very aware of the direction of the story we were going to tell. The story of Norma Jean (real name Marilyn Monroe. – Approx. ed.), the person behind the character of Monroe and what it really is, ”confessed Ana de Armas.
