Disney Parks Experiences and Products President Josh D’Amaro brought in some big names to showcase at D23 Expo, including Mark Ruffalo, Jon Favreau, and Marvel boss Kevin Feige.
The conclusion of his announcement, according to Feige, is that “we are bringing the multiverse to the Avengers campus.”
On the new journey, D’Amaro said, “You will be able to fight alongside all the Avengers from all universes” against villains from across the multiverse. He has offered some concept art, which on closer inspection reveal some interesting fighters.
The gang of villains will also present a new big bad: King Thanos.
“This is Thanos who won [the Infinity War]And the Avengers aren’t very happy with that, “D’Amaro said.
D’Amaro said the trip “comes soon”.
In the near future, “The Hulk will appear on the Avengers campus next week,” D’Amaro said after leading the big man. the last game– Quantum style dress. It wasn’t clear if the version that will appear at California Adventure next week will be dressed this way, but it looks like it will have a limited screening there.
At D23 on Friday, Disney CEO Bob Chapek premiered the news.
“The Marvel team continues to expand the cinematic universe and the Avengers campus will grow with it,” Chapek said on Friday. “So today I’m thrilled to announce that Avengers Campus delves into the multiverse at Disney’s California Adventure.
Chapek also revealed a bird’s eye view of the renovated campus, which was later shared on the Disney Parks Twitter account.
