“The representative didn’t tell us about it and we didn’t see it looking at the property. It’s easy to overlook as it’s accessed through a small bathroom,” Carolyn told reporters in an interview.
Behind the door was a steep staircase leading to a secret room. When the couple went downstairs, they were terrified. There was a cot in a hidden area. “I thought it would be fun to shoot this because all we could see was the internet. But we didn’t expect to find an iron bed, so it was definitely weird!”
Carolyn later learned that coal was stored in this room during the Victorian era. True, it remained unclear why there was a bed in space. By the way, the couple does not plan to leave the house, they like the quirkiness of their home. Moreover, her kids are planning to use the room to shoot a horror movie for school.
