From 25 August to 23 September, the CNRS is organizing an unusual competition, opening the doors of its laboratories to the winners.

Soon, the life of a scientific researcher may have no more secrets for you. From 25 August to 23 September the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) is organizing the third edition of his competition not like the others. Consequently, the largest research organization offers to offer to the winners visits to its laboratories called Unusual visits.

A dive into the world of scientific research

A few words at the beginning of the presentation of the Unusual visits are enough to whet our curiosity: “Who has never dreamed of it visit the largest solar oven in Europeto discover thesecret history of our vegetablesor also slip into the shoes of an astronomer ? “ Exploration of laboratories, installations or even scientific platforms, these are no less 141 exciting organized tours.

Passionate about science, this CNRS competition is just for you

1200 visitors will have the opportunity to discover the behind the scenes of scientific research, face to face with its professionals. Unusual visits will take place in the four corners of France in the middle 7 and 17 October on the occasion of the Science Festival, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

To participate in the CNRS competition, Internet users are invited to register on the event website. They will then be asked to do so answer three scientific questions. The winners will then be randomly selected from those who answered the questions correctly.
