The secular lady Victoria Shelyagova told Ksenia Solovieva, former editor-in-chief of Vogue, why she bought and renovated a cottage in the Ivanovo region.
Victoria shared.
According to Shelyagova, the house, built in the fifties, belonged to two grandmothers who embroidered from Kholuyskaya Stochka. The hostesses designed it according to the fashion of that time: on one wall there were photo wallpapers of birch trees, on the other rugs made of candy wrappers.
– said Shelyagova, who calls herself a local activist and tries to solve administrative and economic problems.
Victoria plans to invite her friends to a housewarming party soon, and as a pastime she promises to read old letters she found in the attic during the repairs. Sosyetik summarized, “There has been no interlocutor for a long time, these lines have become a part of history.”
