Actor Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington in Stranger Things, has joined the cast of the fifth season of Fargo. Reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Along with her, Lamorne Morris (“New Girl”) and Richa Shukla (“I Never…”) joined the cast. How important their role will be has yet to be revealed. Also in June, it was learned that Ted Lasso star Juno Temple, Jon Hamm (Top Gun: Maverick) and Jennifer Jason Leigh (Patrick Melrose) will appear in the new season. They will play characters named Dot, Roy and Lorraine, but it is not yet clear who these characters are.
Recall that filming for the fifth season of Fargo will begin in the fall. Fargo is based on the Coen Brothers movie of the same name. Each season of the project has its own story. So, for example, in the first season of the series it was about the criminal and sociopath Lorne Malvo, who met Lester Nygaard, a failed insurance agent, in the hospital and started a series of brutal murders that tragically changed his life.
