The Telegraph discusses the Investigation Group on Anti-Russian Activities in the Field of Culture (GRAD), a new association that includes State Duma deputies, including Sergei Mironov, Zakhar Prilepin, Dmitry Kuznetsov, Nikolai Burlyaev and Dmitry Pevtsov.
The first meeting took place on August 3, and the group has already begun to compose a list of cultural figures – “agents of foreign influence” and “officials and senior managers who support such agents.” Among the first attempts is a call to the leadership of the Bolshoi Theater and Channel One (all three spoke negatively about the special operation) with a request to “impress” director Alexander Molochnikov and TV presenters Ivan Urgant and Alexander Vasiliev.
If this effect is not successful, it is recommended to refuse them. At the same time, for example, Urgant is listed as an “agent”, and Konstantin Ernst, the managing director of Channel One, as an “accomplice”, director Alexander Molochnikov as an “agent”, Vladimir Urin, the director of the Bolshoi Theatre. “crime partner”.
The reason for the appeal was the celebrity’s position in the special operation in Ukraine. As the authors of the project note noted, these individuals can be removed from these lists “by actively supporting the civilian population and the LPR and DPR People’s Militia, as well as the Russian Armed Forces.”
Prilepin also said on the Telegram channel that the Evening Urgant program, whose broadcast was stopped after the start of the special operation, could return: it was said that Urgant had recorded the leading roles for the show in Ostankino.
Activists also ask the Ministry of Sports to investigate the conditions for the Bi-2 group to be invited to perform at the Russian Football Super Cup.
– He commented on the news on the “Anti-gloss” channel.
– Wrote on the channel “Heroine Tatler”.
Among the main objectives of GRAD is to draw the attention of supervisory authorities to the facts that cultural figures “who are hostile to actions aimed at strengthening the sovereignty of Russia and state interests” are supported by government officials and state-owned companies.
The authors of the project note that they will not organize a “witch hunt” among creative individuals, and first of all, “cleansing” must be carried out in the ranks of officials and administrators.
