The widow of Dmitry Hvorostovsky, the opera singer Florence Hvorostovskaya, met a new love and has already received a blessing from Dmitry’s relatives for this relationship. Florence, 52, is now dating 48-year-old British TV presenter George Clark, according to the Daily Mail.

After Hvorostovsky’s death in 2017, Florence maintained a close relationship with her relatives. They told reporters that they supported her decision to start a personal life with another man.

It is not known exactly when Clark and Hvorostovskaya began to meet. But five months ago, the TV presenter divorced his second wife, Kathy, with whom he had been married for about five years. And in early July, Florence and George were spotted together at Wimbledon. Now the couple is resting in Ibiza.

Born in Italy and fluent in Russian, Florence met Dmitry in 1999 during a rehearsal of the opera Don Giovanni in Geneva. The novel began after Dmitry kissed her during rehearsals. They got married in 2001 (they broke up in 1999) when Dmitry divorced his first wife.

They had two children: daughter Nina is now 15 years old, and son Maxim is 19. Clark has three children from his first marriage: sons Georgie and Emilio and daughter Jonah.

Florence was very saddened by the death of her husband and did not grieve for long. On Instagram* he often remembered Hvorostovsky and posted his photos with touching messages.

The singer’s widow also takes care of preserving her creative heritage within the framework of the Dmitri Hvorostovsky Art Support and Development Foundation, founded by her.
