This is due to the lack of paper by its publisher, Simon & Schuster. Reported by TMZ. The shortage was reported to be due to COVID-19, as a large number of books were ordered during this period and this actually led to a reduction in paper supply. It is unknown when the issue will be resolved. The release date was previously scheduled for January 2023.
As a reminder, the deal for Britney’s book was signed in February 2022 and reportedly included an advance of $15 million. This is one of the biggest book deals in history (aka memorabilia), second only to Barack and Michelle Obama’s deals with Penguin Random House for more than $60 million.
