Isabelle Junot and Spanish Marquis Alvaro Falco, whose father Philippe Junot was once married to Princess Caroline of Monaco, took place in Spain over the weekend. The wedding was attended by the Spanish elite and elected representatives of European aristocratic families – the celebration in the local media was called “the most anticipated wedding of the year”.

Isabelle Junot, 30, is the daughter of French banker Philippe Junot, a former member of the Monaco royal family (she and Princess Caroline were married for only two years and divorced in 1980). Isabelle’s mother is Nina Wendelbo-Larsen, a model of Danish descent. Isabelle works as a nutritionist and teaches healthy eating, as well as developing a modeling career and appearing in magazines.

Her chosen one, 38-year-old Alvaro Falco, comes from a Spanish aristocratic family (he became the fourth Marquess of Cuba after his father’s death in 2020), works as a sales director for a digital marketing company and also works as a DJ.

Before the wedding, Alvaro and Isabelle met for four years, and the Marquis proposed to his chosen one in April last year.

The bride chose a luxurious Pronovias dress for the ceremony. The wedding ceremony took place in the 16th-century Mirabell Palace, which belonged to the groom’s family. Isabelle’s family is quite famous in France. His grandfather, Michel Junot, was the deputy mayor of Paris and worked with US President John F. Kennedy. Isabelle’s ancestor was General Junot, who served under Napoleon. His name is carved on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Isabelle herself was born in New York, then attended Le Rosey, the elite Swiss boarding school where many members of the royal family were educated, the French High School in Madrid, and the University of Virginia.
