The International Quidditch Association is about to rename the game. The organization has made an official statement stating that it no longer wants to be associated with JK Rowling and her transphobic scandal. Now the sporting event will be called quadball.

JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, is increasingly under fire for her antitranspositions. “The three main actors of the Harry Potter film franchise, as well as LGBTQ+ advocacy groups like GLAAD and the Human Rights Campaign, have criticized her stance.”

They also noted that the new name would help resolve the trademark issue for the word “Quidditch” owned by Warner Bros. Now the association plans to conclude a license agreement for the use of the term “quadball”.
We will remind you that earlier JK Rowling spoke harshly towards transgender people. “I’m sure there was a word for these people,” he wrote on Twitter. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomood?” Rowling wrote in response to the new term “menstruating.”

We would like to remind you that the name of the game was previously changed by the American Quidditch Association and Major League Quidditch.
