Telegram channels are discussing an explanatory note to the bill on a complete ban on the dissemination of information about LGBT individuals. He says that the popularization of childless (childless. – Approximate pressure) and homosexual relationships is “a danger to the development of Russian society.” In this context, it is recommended to equate information on LGBT relations with war propaganda and incitement to national, racial or religious hatred.

The authors of the Telegram channels commented on the idea of ​​​​checking such information, including, for example, not issuing lease certificates for films that “propaganda for the denial of family values.”

Currently, there is a ban on LGBT propaganda in Russia only among minors, the dissemination of such information in general is not prohibited. The bill was submitted for consideration by a group of deputies, including the head of the Duma Committee on Culture Elena Yampolskaya and Nikolai Burlyaev. According to Burlyaev, the words “childless”, “LGBT”, “gay” should also be banned.
