Cancellation culture: Sony suspends filming of Will Smith movie

All this week, Western tabloids have been discussing the event at the Oscars. As we wrote earlier, during the awards ceremony, Will Smith punched comedian Chris Rock in the face for telling a bad joke about Will’s wife, Jada.

The act of the actor greatly influenced his career. Netflix’s streaming service has been known to slow down the shooting of the “Fast & Free” action movie in which Smith was supposed to play the main role. As noted by Variety, it is not yet clear what will happen to the project. It is possible that the producers will have to look for a replacement for the actor.

Meanwhile, the Sony film company has also suspended work on the movie “Bad Boys 4”, which was supposed to play Will Smith.

Recall that after the actor shot the comedian Chris Rock in the face, many Hollywood stars took up arms against him. Among them was actress Zoe Kravitz, who started a real flash mob on the Web, denouncing Will’s behavior.
