When Niki tried to catch up, the situation got out of hand. The distraught crowd of fans did not want to let the star go, so she had to barricade herself in a chauffeur-driven car.

Fans then surrounded the car and chased it along the street. Police officers came to the aid of the poor star, who apparently did not expect such excitement (which is very strange). They dispersed the crowd and escorted them to the car.
