American Black Film Festival Announces Festival Award Winners;  ‘Our Father, The Devil’ And ‘Feels Like Ghosts’ Win Big

The 2022 American Black Film Festival (ABFF) announced the winners of the ABFF Awards today.

The presentation, hosted by three-time Emmy-nominated actor and writer Dondre Whitfield, was the wrapping of the five-day festival, with producer, director and actress Isa Rae serving as the festival’s ambassador.

The 26th Annual Festival returns live in Miami June 15-19 and continues almost until June 30 with independent films, the ABFF Best of Awards and more programming on its purpose-built online platform. PLAY ABFF.

The ABFF Best Awards include winners in the Official Film Selection categories: Narrative & Documentary, Web Series, and HBO’s 25th Short Film Award, as well as a talent show featuring national casting and writing competitions.
