SpecialAdrien O’Reilly is leaving Turner Network after 11 years, most recently as Senior Vice President, guiding original programming and TNets script development for TNT, TBS, and truTV.
O’Rain is the latest programming executive to leave TNets Discovery after the WarnerMedia merger, as WarnerMedia’s ad-supported entertainment line networks became one of the new regime’s first savings targets. O’Reilly’s departure was followed by Brett Weitz, CEO of TNT, TBS and truTV, and Corey Henson, CEO of Unscripted EVP, broadcast on TBS, TNT and truTV. Both the scripted and non-scripted TNet original series were also removed, as the networks stopped developing new scripts.
Sam Linski, Senior Vice President and Executive Vice President of Programming and Operations for TBS, TNT and truTV, who co-chaired original programming with O’Reilly; Lauren Page, vice president of original programming at TBS, TNT and TruTV; Campbell Smith, Vice President of Originals, TBS, TNT and TruTV; And Drew Uhrig, vice president of scripted programming, TBS, TNT and truTV. My understanding is that they are all both up-to-date and in development and are expected to focus on current shows.
