Rumors of the poisoning of Roman Abramovich were discussed in the press last night: the media reported that the Russian billionaire and several members of the Ukrainian delegation experienced symptoms of poisoning after meeting in Kiev in early March. The BBC even stated that they had confirmation from a representative of Abramovich, but they denied it a few hours later.

According to the publication, interviewees had red and watery eyes, as well as flaky skin. One source even said that Abramovic lost his sight for a while, but started to feel better after being treated at a clinic in Istanbul. The Wall Street Journal news was picked up by other world media and became the number one issue.

Earlier that evening, Reuters, citing a source from the US intelligence services, reported that intelligence data did not indicate poisoning and were related to the influence of environmental factors (for example, poor ecology or climate), but not poisons.
