Disney returns the audience to the prehistoric world – the studio introduced the teaser of the sixth part of the cult franchise “ice age”. The new cartoon was called “Ice Age: Boiling Point” and its premiere is planned to be made on February 5, 2027.

This will be the first full continuation of the fifth film in 2016. As before, events, 20 thousand years ago, hard climate, giant animals and of course both old acquaintances and new characters are expected during the beloved heroes.
Disney reported their plans to restart the franchise in 2022, but the active work on the project has just begun. Walt Disney Animation Studios is engaged in production – after the closure of Blue Sky Studio in 2021, it took over the development of the brand. The closure of the blue sky later announced the results of Pandemik and Inner Perestroika in the company.
The new film will be the first part of the series, which is completely created under Disney Wing and can mean changes in both visual and atmosphere. While the land details are kept confidential, Teaser implies that heroes are already waiting for global changes – looking at the name, the “boiling point” will not only be real, but also the land.
The ice age continues to be one of the most successful animation franchises in history: previous units have collected more than $ 3 billion in renting. Looking at the response to the announcement in the social networks, the audience clearly missed the squirrels with Sid, Manny, Diego, and of course bonito.
They will return to their roles before: Ray Romano (Manny), John Legizamo (Sid), Cuin Latif (Ellie), Denis Liri (Diego) and Simon Pegg (BAC).
Recall that the first cartoon of Franchise, which gives information about mammoths, laziness, tiger and protein hunt, was released in 2002. The last part was “Ice Age: Conflict inevitable” -2016. The cartoon collected 408.5 million dollars at the box office.
