Rumors that Kate Middleton and Prince William would be moving arose in January, just a day before it became known that the couple would be moving to Windsor. Today, British media reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have finally decided on a home, with the couple choosing Adelaide Cottage. The residence is currently II. It is within walking distance of Windsor Castle, where Elizabeth lived. The move is scheduled for the end of June.

The house fully meets the family’s demand for a “modest mansion” and does not require additional security and repairs. It is known to have four bedrooms, a large garden and the staff are not permanent residents. The mansion was built in 1831 and once served as a haven for Princess Margaret’s lover, Peter Townsend.
Recall that the family now lives in Kensington Palace and after the move it will be used as a personal office and press office. The family also owns their country estate in Amner Hall, Norfolk.
