Journalist, artist and art dealer Igor Dudinsky has died at the age of 75. This information was confirmed by his daughter, director Valeria Gai Germanika.

He said in an interview with Gazeta.Ru.

He could not explain the circumstances of the incident as he did not maintain a close relationship with his father. Valeria Guy Germanika’s parents broke up when she was just one year old.

Earlier, the telegraph channel “112” reported that Dudinsky was in the geriatric center, where doctors diagnosed him with infectious toxic shock. He has been seriously ill for the past few years.

Igor Dudinsky was a member of the Moscow avant-garde artists’ ensemble, an active participant in the capital’s bohemian life, and joined the opposition movement in the 1960s. In December 1965, he was expelled from Moscow State University for participating in one of the first human rights demonstrations in the USSR, with the support of poet Yuli Daniel and writer Andrei Sinyavsky.

For his journalistic activities, Dudinsky managed to work for the newspapers Moscow Speaks and Shows, Megapolis-Express, Moscow Correspondent, was also a special correspondent for Ogonyok and Soviet Culture. In addition, it is known that Evgenia Vasilyeva, a former official of the Ministry of Defense, advertised her pictures, convicted in a particularly large-scale fraud case.
